Relax with the whole family at this peaceful lake house. Located in a quiet neighborhood atop a hill with spectacular views of Caney Lake, this rustic 3 bedroom/2 bath house that sleeps 12 is the perfect place for a getaway.

Our property is located on the deeper end of the lake with lots of open water which is perfect for tubing and skiing during the warmer months and provides excellent fishing year-round. Hooks Marina is visible from our house and the beach area at the State Park is a short five-minute boat ride away.

This is our main home when we are not traveling for work, so we have made it as comfortable as possible. We have a fully functional kitchen with tons of gadgets and a full array of spices. We offer queen sized memory foam mattresses in all three bedrooms. The master bedroom has an adjustable bed frame with a massager as well. The living room has a sleeper sofa that sleeps two. We have two roll out twin sized beds that are stored in the guest room closet and the pantry area which can be placed in the living room for added sleeping accommodations. The living room also contains an oversized bean bag that can be converted to a mattress that sleeps two (perfect for kids).

Each bedroom has a Roku TV with DVD player. The living room has a larger TV with DVD player and a Firestick. We also have Starlink internet which is great for streaming at the house and boat house. We have also provided games, movies and puzzles indoors.

There are plenty of games on the back deck for entertainment. The back deck also has a six person hot tub with a TV/fire stick. It is the perfect way to unwind at the end of the day! There is an outdoor projector and screen that is visible from the grilling area. It’s the perfect setup for grilling and watching the game! We also have a Bluetooth speaker system located outside on the back deck adjacent to the main house plus down by the lake at the boathouse that can be connected to for playing music. We have plenty of seating areas and tables on the back deck as well as at the boathouse. We have a propane fire table on the back deck adjacent to the house as well as a propane grill.

Down at the dock there are two kayaks plus paddle boards, a lake mat and a water hammock.  We have an automatic fish feeder plus lights around the dock that attract fish so the fishing is great! We have even sunk artificial reefs around the dock for the fish. The upper deck of the boathouse provides a direct view of the fireworks on July 4th and is great for sunning. Our boathouse has two boat slips for docking and a floating jet ski dock for two. We have a fish cleaning station with fresh water. Our storage building on the boathouse has a refrigerator plus microwave to minimize trips up to the house during the day. Some floats, life jackets, and fishing rods are provided. We have twin sized bed swings located at the boathouse and on the spacious upper deck area adjacent to the main house. They are perfect for relaxing and even napping.

There is a small goldfish pond located along the flagstone walkway beside the house and guests are invited to feed the goldfish with the goldfish food provided.

There is also a swing set, sandbox, trampoline and rollercoaster for the kids. 

A golf cart is provided as well which makes it super easy to get down to the lake. It is perfect for people with mobility issues.
